280 Bakes | Bristol Foodie

Located in the heart of Bristol lies 280 Bakes, a home bakery owned by the lovely Lou. Every third Sunday of the month she opens up her doors to the public to come and buy some of her delicious home goods. Even on a cold, wet and windy Sunday, Lou's personality and cheery disposition warms even the coldest of hands. Displayed in Lou's porch were cupcakes, cookies, banana bread and an array of breads, a great variety and even some gluten free options. We talked about our favourite bakes, what bakeries we have visited in Bristol and how to start a baking business from home. I was kindly given some Nutella and peanut butter cookies to take home and let me tell you they were the softest cookies I have ever eaten! They melted in the mouth with the subtle taste of peanut butter and we all know how much of a Nutella lover I am so added bonus points!! So if you are in the Bristol area and looking for a treat on a Sunday evening, or want a cake made to order then get in touch with Lou, she has an array of skills and is one of the loveliest foodies I have met! Her doors open every third Sunday of the month 4pm - 6pm or get in contact with her via the website, Twitter or Facebook.
