Jake and I took a trip to The Fish Hotel for our seven year anniversary (where the hell has the time gone?) at the start of October and it was heavenly. After seeing the hotel in an Instagram post I had a little search online and fell in love with the place, especially the Hilly Huts. I'm a sucker for anything cosy and different to stay in so it was a no brainer to book a hut. The hut comes with a hot tub, wood burner and an en-suite bathroom. It had everything we could of wished for and more. The hotel grounds are stunning and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special.
We explored the area, ate like kings and relaxed in the hot tub overlooking the valley whilst being surrounded by stars. The most special part of our trip was seeing a Doe and her fawn right outside our hut in the morning (all the feels).
Sometimes you just need to get away, even if just for a night, to relax and recharge your batteries with someone you love. I know, i'm getting gushy... but if you want a relaxing night away in the perfect setting then I highly recommend The Fish Hotel.
